Following the motion of the helmet can now head when bumped. Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) and Karolinksa Institute in Sweden was forced to develop a newhelmet with the technology that is claimed to protect the head more than a regularhelmet.

The technology is called Multiderectional Impact Protection System (MIPS). As reported by the official website of MIPS, the researchers named the newest generation of helmets in the future.

Performance of the helmet is pretty simple. On the MIPS helmet available 3 layers. Outer, middle and deep. Three layers are recognized greatly reduce the impact of collisions.

Because the MIPS helmet moves follow the direction of either head to the front to back or sideways. One example of when the helmet clash with asphalt, then thethird layer moves.
